Mayflower Congregational United Church of Christ

We are a people of faith on a journey with Christ!

Purpose:  We will love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves. (Matthew 22:34-40)

Mission: On this journey we:

• celebrate God's love for us and our neighbors.

• create a welcoming atmosphere and accessible space in our church.

• investigate new ways to be refreshed and challenged in worship.

• educate all ages to help them more fully understand what God is teaching and calling us to do.

• facilitate activities that serve our neighbors, community, and congregation.

Mayflower opens it's hearts, arms and building to a wide variety of community ministries including Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Boy Scouts, Emergency Shelter for neighboring Liberty Elementary School and Head Start, City Elite Dance School (ages 5 & up) and Calico Kids Preschool.

Project Good Neighbor, sponsored by the Mission and Outreach Board, connects with the neighborhood all year long. A free rummage in the fall, monthly free breakfasts on the 4th Saturday of the month, a free coat tree on the church steps, and a Free Little Library invite the neighbors in to experience a warm reception through God’s love.
