Who We Are
Siouxland CARES (Community-wide Awareness, Resources, Education, and Support) is a community coalition with the vision of empowering our community members to help make Siouxland a safe and healthy place for our youth and families. We work to improve the quality of life in Siouxland by helping young people to make healthy choices by strengthening protective factors and reducing risk factors. We would love to have you participate!
Siouxland CARES is an affiliated agency of the United Way of Siouxland and a former Drug Free Communities Support Program grantee from the SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) and ONDCP (Office of National Drug Control Policy).
What We Do
Siouxland CARES has opportunities for volunteers in many different areas including Advocacy/Public Policy; Assessment; Finance; Fund Development; Issues; Marketing/Communications; Personnel/Volunteer Recruitment and Planning/Board Development.
