Unity in Action

Unity in Action was initiated by community leaders and volunteers who perceived the need for support and guidance in our Latino Community. 

Our mission is to empower latinos by promoting workers rights, Civic engagement and justice through education, training and advocacy. 

Our three areas of work consist of Civic Engagement, Workers rights and Justice. 

With Civic Engagement, we work with doing voter registrations, and Get out the Vote efforts by contacting our community and reminding them of the importance of elections and their vote. 

With workers rights, we provide training for community members working in the meat packing industry. 

With Justice, we use education, training and Advocacy. We provide Free Citizenship and Basic English Classes. We partner with other organizations and attorneys to provide DACA, General Immigration, and know your rights presentations. We continuously  advocate for our community and issues that effect us all.

We also provide Spanish Translation and interpreting services.
