FIRST LEGO League is a worldwide program that has been getting children eager to learn science, technology, engineering, and math for over 20 years. FIRST LEGO helps children develop skills in problem-solving, teamwork, strategizing, and creative thinking.
BUILDING THE FUTURE! This year’s challenge is all about improving cities. Teams will research problems the population faces in our current city systems, create or improve a solution, and share their solutions with others in looking into the future.
You can help! Volunteers are what makes these events successful. You can help inspire kids to be interested in all kinds of career pathways in engineering, architecture, design, science, technology, and learning. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Sign up now! FIRST has a system for volunteer registration that will allow you to see all events in Iowa. Login or create an account in the FIRST Volunteer Registration System and look for “Sergeant Bluff Qualifier” under “Volunteer Registration” to volunteer on December 14.
