Set in the beautiful hills overlooking Sioux City, Iowa, Holy Spirit Retirement Home is Siouxland’s only faith-based, locally-owned entity. Our rich tradition for providing excellent patient care starts with our strong continuum of care approach, meaning our residents receive the right level of care for their individual health goals and situation.

As part of our resident-centered philosophy, we offer vital extras to support our residents emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. Onsite physical, occupational and speech therapy services encourage our residents to regain a level of independence. Daily activities and programs offer residents the opportunity to socialize and embrace new friendships. In addition, our morning Mass allows time for quiet reflection and prayer.

Our volunteer network is at the heart of Holy Spirit’s foundation. Our volunteers fulfill a variety of vital roles throughout our facility from assisting with special holiday programs to visiting with our residents.

While we are fortunate to have a solid volunteer base, new volunteers are always needed.
