Who We Are
Komen Greater Iowa is dedicated to supporting the fight against breast cancer through education, early detection, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship care throughout our service area. Our Affiliate is financially supported by funds raised through the Komen Greater Iowa Race for the Cure series, which hosts events in Des Moines, Sioux City, Ottumwa and Moline. Our Affiliate also raises funds through other Komen-supported events, such as a golf outing and Pink in the Rink, individual and corporate donations, special breast cancer awareness license plates, third-party special events, and memorial or celebration contributions.
What We Do
Save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
