Unity in the Community

Mission Statement 

Keeping Peace, Hope, love and prayer in the lives of our community which will embrace the Partnerships and support of citizens and law enforcement at all times.

We have Roundtable discussions with Community leaders citizens and local law enforcement such as Sioux City police department and the Woodbury County Sheriff's Department to discuss and analyze and be proactive to keep our community productive and building positive relationships between Community citizens and law enforcement. We also hold an annual public forum which address is current concerns at a local or national level. Annually we host a city block party which is a celebration of unity in our community and provide food games and opportunity to get to know are police officers Sheriff's Department and the people that reside in our community. Unity in the community also proactively visits the public schools at all grade levels and the surrounding colleges in our tri-state area to educate students on the importance a building Community relationships which support community policing.
